An EIP-AGRI Symposium entitled ‘Sharing lessons learned and how these might help to inform Ireland’s CAP Strategic plan’ took place on the 21st of October 2020 via Zoom as part of this year’s Burren Winterage School. The various methods tested by, and subsequent lessons learned from 12 EIP-AGRI Projects throughout Ireland were presented at this event, attended by over 150 participants, including Colm Hayes, Assistant Secretary General at Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM). The use of such learnings to inform the design and delivery of Ireland’s CAP Strategic Plan, currently under development, to effectively address specific environmental challenges was also discussed at this event.
