Knowledge Transfer Programme launched, raising CSP awareness

Aug 30, 2023 | Climate Change News

Ministers for Agriculture, Charlie McConalogue and Martin Heydon, have initiated the Knowledge Transfer Programme as part of the 2023-2027 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Strategic Plan. This initiative aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and innovation among stakeholders in the agricultural sector. It builds on the success of the previous 2014-2020 Rural Development Programme and contributes to the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS). The program covers topics like sustainability, technology, and farm safety, emphasizing both economic and social sustainability. The application process involves two steps: expressing interest to become a Knowledge Transfer Facilitator and then submitting a Knowledge Transfer Group application. Payments include up to €750 annually for participants and €500 per participant for facilitators, with group sizes capped at 20. Requirements include attending meetings and one-on-one sessions. Further details are available here.
