This hugely successful and inspiring event, organised in conjunction with the National Rural Network (NRN), brought researchers, farm advisers, policymakers and farmers together to discuss innovative approaches towards agri-environmental protection and sustainability of farms throughout Ireland through EIP-AGRI’s locally-led, farmer-centred approach.

This good practice dissemination platform is just one of a number of multi-method communication strategies being implemented by the NRN to maximize the success of the objectives set out in Ireland’s Rural Development Programme (RDP) on behalf of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM).
The EIP-AGRI initiative was set up by the European Commission to promote innovation and foster sustainable growth within the agri-food sector and rural economy through a multi-actor approach involving farmers, researchers, advisors and agri-businesses.
