Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue, has just launched an on-line survey hosted by the Unfair Trading Practices Enforcement Authority.
This is part 2 of a survey system which will assist to inform the department on issues of concern from suppliers.
The survey’s will seek to establish baseline studies of regulatory awareness levels within the Food Supply Chain industry, it will also show the extent of impact of any unfair trading practices and highlight factors which influences suppliers to make a complaint.
The Minister states:
“This survey represents a valuable opportunity for farmers and fishers to let the relevant authorities know if they are being treated unfairly by the buyers of their produce and I strongly encourage all our primary producers take five minutes of their time to provide this important feedback. I look forward to receiving the survey findings in due course.”
