The EIP-AGRI Support Facility have published a new brochure about Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS), with an emphasis on boosting innovation and knowledge flows across Europe.
AKIS hold a crucial role in helping farmers, foresters and rural communities across Europe tackle current and future challenges by supporting innovation and ensuring knowledge is shared between everyone who uses and produces it. AKIS therefore support the development of innovative solutions that work in practice.
This new brochure highlights a number of key features of AKIS, including the importance of connecting through CAP networks and stimulating competent advice and innovation support. The brochure also shines a light on some inspiring examples from Slovenia, Germany and Spain that help build stronger AKIS across Europe.
